Since college I've had a list in my bible. This
list is from Proverbs 31:10-31. I decided I wanted
to try my best to become a virtuous woman.

“She is energetic and
strong, a hard worker.”

I have always had very "industrious" and
inspiring women in my life. From excellent
housekeepers to an expert seamstress - I've
been surrounded by hard working women.
My Mother's Mother was a talented seamstress
(among many other things) for Coddington
Pants Factory in North Judson, In. My Mother
and her 9 brothers and sisters grew up with the
latest fashions, all handmade by my Mamaw
Jordan. I still have a few clothing items she
made for me, but I didn't really appreciate them
until Mamaw passed away and I had married.
Her influence is really what spurred a desire to
sew. Hence, within the last year I have begun to
teach myself.

Some things to know.

I'm a self-taught seamstress and so I usually make my own patterns based on
something I've seen - no store bought patterns for me. If you enjoy the idea of
having something one of a kind, please visit my etsy store to see what’s for sale.
Note: I'm not currently taking special orders.
